Rob MacCachren to Debut the No. 20 Rockstar/MasterCraft Trophy Truck!

Rob MacCachren to Debut the No. 20 Rockstar/MasterCraft Trophy Truck
at the SCORE Terrible’s Primm 300

MasterCraft Safety® owner and No. 30 SCORE Trophy Truck driver, Robbie Pierce, is pleased to announce a last minute deal with Rob MacCachren to solo drive the No. 20 Rockstar/MasterCraft Trophy Truck at the 14th Annual SCORE Terrible’s Primm 300 to be held September 11 – 13, 2009.

Robbie Pierce is obviously excited about Rob MacCachren debuting the newly purchased No. 20 Rockstar/MasterCraft Trophy Truck and commented, “When Mark Post in the No. 3 Rivera Racing truck withdrew from the Primm 300 last Friday, I was presented with the opportunity to have Rob MacCachren compete in my second Jimco-built SCORE Trophy Truck for this year’s race. I had previously committed to Mike Julson, owner of Jimco, to be in the No. 20 truck for Primm. When he heard Rob MacCachren was going to be driving one of his trucks he was more than happy to step back from behind the wheel and be an integral part of the logistical operations to ensure his trucks not only cross the finish line, but also claim a victory.”

As part of the last minute agreement, the No. 30 SCORE Trophy Truck driven by Robbie Pierce will also be branded with the Rockstar/MasterCraft logos and as Rob MacCachren said, “we double the chance that the SCORE Primm 300 Champion will be a Rockstar/MasterCraft race truck.”

Jimco’s Mike Julson couldn’t be happier with the announcement and commented, “While I was looking forward to getting behind the wheel and defending the hard-fought hero to zero finish we had at the Baja 500, I think this is an incredible opportunity to have someone of Rob MacCachren’s caliber driving one of my trucks and I will be there to support the team in any way possible. If that means stepping out of the truck and getting dirty in the pits, then so be it!”

The SCORE Terrible’s Primm 300 is the fourth round of the five race 2009 SCORE Desert Series. The 276 mile course will be a test of endurance as the extreme temperatures and unforgiving terrain of the Nevada desert will push the limits of the racers and their equipment. The No. 30 Trophy Truck, piloted by Robbie Pierce, heads to the Primm 300 in the 8th points position and will start 14th while the No. 20 truck, driven by Rob MacCachren, will start in the 21st position.
