Pregnant Grade V  student accuses teacher of raping her in school 3 times

A schoolteacher faces an investigation over accusations he raped a Grade V student in Bangued town in Abra province, not once or twice but four times.

The 14-year-old student – now six months pregnant – claimed the first incident occurred last March 27 at the school canteen, GMA Ilocos reported.

She said he raped her again April 23 and July 5, before taking her to a hotel for the fourth violation last Aug. 9.

"Tinext ako at tinawagan, pumunta ka dito sa eskuelahan sabi niya, tapos sa huli pumunta kami sa hotel," she said.

On the other hand, teachers at the school noticed something was wrong when they saw the girl's stomach becoming bigger.

Parents and relatives of the girl are angry over the supposed rapes that resulted in the girl's impregnation.

"Gusto naming ilaban para sa ganon wala na siyang na mabiktima sa susunod at gusto namin na matanggal na itong guro," said a relative of the girl.

Police and Department of Social Welfare and Development authorities are preparing rape charges against the teacher, while the Department of Education is readying administrative sanctions against him.

DepEd Abra division superintendent OIC Ronald Castillo said there is a possibility of preventive suspension being slapped on the teacher.

Also, the accused was temporarily transferred to the DepEd division office in Bangued while the investigation is ongoing.
