Bravo’s ‘Top Chef Duels’ Takes ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Cast on a ‘Steak-Out’ (Exclusive Video)

Plays on words abound as the cast joke about doing stakeouts on the Fox show and a 30 day dry-aged ribeye is being prepared in the kitchen

Two more chefs go head-to-head in the kitchen and have to cook for a bunch of hungry cops — or at least actors who play them on television.

On Wednesday’s all new episode of “Top Chef Duels,” the cast of Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine Nine” is invited to the dining room table while Jen Carroll and Nyesha Arrington battle it out in the kitchen.

In TheWrap’s exclusive clip, Carroll rushes around searing 30-day dry-aged ribeye steaks, surrounding them with bold flavors like smoked potatoes and kimchi rhubarb ketchup.

Meanwhile, out in the dining room, Andy Samberg and Melissa Fumero banter back and forth over shooting stakeout scenes for their Fox comedy. “They usually start out like ‘We don’t like each other!’” Samberg shared. “And by the end it’s like ‘You know what, you’re OK.’”

“That kinda sounds like you’re ripping on the writing a bit,” show creator Daniel J. Goor joked.
