News: Russell Kane To Appear On Question Time

Update 30/6/16: Russell Kane didn't appear on June 2 but he is on tonight. Good luck Russell.

Russell Kane is to appear on an upcoming episode of the BBC's political panel series Question Time.

Kane will be joining the panel in Cardiff for the programme that goes out on June 2.

He mentioned the news in an interview with TV blog I Talk Telly in which he was mainly discussing his upcoming BBC3 series Stupid Man, Smart Phone, which is available from May 1. Read the full interview here.

The quickfire youthful comic is the latest in a growing number of comedians who have appeared on the QT panel. Gráinne Maguire appeared on the panel earlier this year and Russell Brand and Jo Brand are among the big names who have apeared in the past.

Kane has been getting increasingly political in recent months, particularly on his video blog The Kaneing, where he has spoken about subjects ranging from Obama and Cameron to the Sugar Tax and the NHS.
