Registration open for Marlborough police 5K

MARLBOROUGH - Registration is open for the 11th annual Marlborough Police Patrol Officers Association 5K Police Chase road race.

The road race, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, will be followed by a cookout, kids' activities, live music and raffles. The association puts on the race each year in memory of Sgt. William Kirby.

Cost of registration is $12 in advance or $15 on the day of the race. Participants can register at www.marlboropoliceassociation.org.

The race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the Moose Lodge at 67 Fitchburg St.
