'Insomniac Revenge' for Byram venture crew

BYRAM — Venture Crew 276 of Byram attended "Insomniacs Revenge" at Goose Pond Scout Reservation in Pennsylvania.

This program consisted of two days of activities. The spy theme for this no-sleep weekend was “Agent in Training." Target shooting, computer building, Japanese knife forging and judo self-defense were some of the planned activities.

"It’s wonderful to be climbing a 50 foot rock wall tower, a 30 foot cargo net, to rappel from 50 feet up and to ride a zip line into the darkness," said Crew Secretary Stephen Rozek.

The seven crew members who attended the weekend stayed awake 40 hours before taking a nap.
