Kobe Bryant made his return to the NBA court this Sunday night against the Raptors in Los Angeles. It’s the first time Bryant has suited up in a Lakers jersey since suffering an Achilles tendon injury last season.
To commemorate the occasion, the Lakers gave Bryant a new intro song to get the crowd pumped up. Their choice? The “Imperial March.”
For non-Star Wars fans, it’s the music that plays whenever Darth Vader and his cronies show up on screen.
Don’t like Lakers linking Kobe Bryant to Vader? Too bad.
