Greek trade deficit up by 21.9 pct in May as exports sink further
The rate of increase in Greece’s trade deficit accelerated to 21.9 percent in May from 17.2 percent in April, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
May’s figure indicates that trade deficit rose for the fourth straight month and the headline figure reached 1.72 billion euros.
