Science Advisor Katharine Hayhoe Wins AGU Climate Communication Prize

Congratulations to Climate Communication Science Advisor, Katharine Hayhoe on receiving the 2014 American Geophysical Union’s Climate Communication Prize, which is given annually to one honoree in recognition of the communication of climate science.” 

AGU writes, “The Climate Prize highlights the importance of promoting scientific literacy, clarity of message, and efforts to foster respect and understanding of science-based values as they relate to the implications of climate change.”

This past year, Katharine was featured on Showtime’s Years of Living Dangerously, as well as being a consultant on the show, and was chosen as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
