POLICE yesterday arrested three Philippine Army soldiers for allegedly causing trouble inside a bar in General Maxilom Ave. in Cebu City.

Private First Class (PFC) Leand Bryce Nemil Aujero, 26, was accused of pointing a gun at the bar’s security guard. Aujero and his companions PFC Jovy dela Cruz, 24, and PFC. Aljun Diocana, 29, were allegedly intoxicated during the incident, said Chief Insp. David Senior, chief of the Fuente Police Station.

The soldiers are assigned at the AFP Central Command.

Senior said the bar’s security guard, Garido Calinawan Ampong, was called inside the bar to pacify the soldiers who allegedly become unruly at 2:40 a.m. yesterday.

Aujero allegedly got irked with the security guard and pointed a .45 cal. pistol at Ampong.

Ampong then sought help from a police patrol.

The three were taken to the Fuente Police Station.

Seized from Aujero’s possession was a .45 cal. pistol with six live rounds.

The soldiers will be charged with violating a city ordinance that penalizes public drunkenness
