Black Conservatives Fund PAC debuts in run-up to 2014 midterm elections

Black Conservatives Fund PAC debuts in run-up to 2014 midterm elections

“The lock that liberals have held on the black vote is slowly but surely breaking”

As the 2014 midterms approach, a new conservative political action committee (PAC) has just formed with an eye toward electing more black conservative candidates to public office.

Noting, “the lock that liberals have held on the black vote is slowly but surely breaking,” the PAC’s homepage states,

The Black Conservative Fund is committed to helping fund and elect black conservatives who are dedicated to spreading the message of true limited government and traditional values across our great land.

The PAC, which declares itself as, “first and foremost a CONSERVATIVE political action committee” [Emphasis Original], will be spending time during the lead-up to the 2014 midterms and beyond helping to “elect black conservatives at every level of government.”

First, from a conceptual standpoint, I feel the formation of the PAC is one that is absolutely necessary if the conservative movement is to expand into areas where it has traditionally had far too little political presence. If you are one who thinks the conservative movement is doing fine among black voters, consider that Barack Obama was elected in 2008 receiving 96% of the black vote, and was then promptly reelected in 2012 with 94% of the black vote.

The results conservatives have achieved over the years in black communities at the national level are nowhere near where they ought to be, and Black Conservatives Fund (BCF) aims to chip away at the problem.

Apart from the conceptual allure of BCF, recent events garnering attention in the national media illustrate the need for a conservative PAC with just this type of mission.

Yesterday, CNN host Don Lemon appeared on Laura Ingraham’s radio show to discuss race relations and political alignment among African-Americans.

“Many people think that African-Americans are monolithic and they speak with one voice and that there is one leader,” Lemon said after Ingraham cited black listeners who said they were tired of [Al] Sharpton’s words being treated as gospel. “Yeah, there are a lot of people who follow Al Sharpton, I have nothing against Al Sharpton, I have no beef with him, but I don’t agree with everything that comes out of Al Sharpton’s mouth and Al Sharpton is not my leader.”

Lemon continued,

I have a number of different leaders, some people I agree with who happen to be African-American, some people I agree with who happen to be white. And some people I agree with happen to be Democrat, some people I agree with happen to be Republican.

While the black community did vote uniformly in the last two presidential elections, I don’t think Lemon’s views are entirely unique, and they represent an opportunity for conservatives who are willing to seize it. The emergence of Black Conservatives Fund shows there are those among us who are prepared to do just that.

If you want to learn more about the PAC, the “About” section of their website is here.

You will probably quickly note that one of BCF’s early endorsements includes Mia B. Love, the Utah Congressional candidate we were firmly behind here at Legal Insurrection during the 2012 cycle, and one who we look forward to supporting this year as well.

I wish Frances Rice would run for office. http://www.nbra.info

I agree with encouraging black conservatives to run for political office. But once they’re in the race, they’ve got to convince the primary voters that they’re the best candidate on the merits. Conservatives will rally around a black candidate with honest values (see Mia).

The dam will break soon – like something right out of Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point. I thought it would have happened earlier but the signs are there.

The Republican/Libertarian coalition may never get 50% of the black vote but I 25-35% is more than doable.

The key thing is to find and run black conservatives at local levels such as Mia Love and TW Shannon.

You might be onto something. Obastard has done nothing to help blacks as a group, other than put Holder out there to state that there’s no such thing as anti-white racism, which doesn’t help blacks at all – just throws them an emotional bone.

Perhaps some blacks will thus conclude without being prodded that they’ve been had by ‘rats because obastard has had the full support of the ‘rat party. Those who do will come to understand that black culture is what is holding them back as individuals and it’s nobody’s fault but their own for clinging to the ‘rat plantation.

Good quality black candidates are the key. The first few have had a trial by fire from the Democratic racists, but as the field of good, black candidates grows, reality will set in for the voters.

I just put this PAC on my list of candidates/groups to support and sent them a donation. It is time to start changing minds.

Nice post. Wife and I just sent some California dollars.

Black conservatives tend to be outstanding people – cogent, successful, polite, honest and direct.

Wouldn’t it be marvelous if these people became the role model for black culture rather than what we have now?

I wish these people Godspeed in their efforts. With the support and encouragement from other conservative groups, media and established bloggers, they could become pivotal in turning this country around.

Deneen Borelli is one of my favorite people. Check her out here: http://deneenborelli.com/about/ I became aware of her when she was first a guest on Sean Hannity’s show. She’s sharp as a tack and was with Project 21, one of the first black politically conservative organizations in the country. I know some here don’t care too much for Hannity, but he does a wonderful job of featuring black conservative guests and showcasing what outstanding people they are.

“Black conservatives tend to be outstanding people – cogent, successful, polite, honest and direct.”

Very interesting statement. Now the question…. are they conservative because they are cogent, successful, polite, honest and direct or are they cogent, successful, polite, honest and direct because they are conservative? In either case, it is important to link conservatism with these traits.

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Anchovy. | April 18, 2014 at 5:47 pm

Cogence, civility, intelligence and straight talk lead to conservatism. Those qualities are inherent in success as well.

They should refer to themselves as “conservatives”, period. That would surely be the beginning of a revolution.

Judge people by the content of their character.

That said, Welcome.

    gasper in reply to n.n. | April 18, 2014 at 3:38 pm

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that could actually happen? Unfortunately, and I know you understand this, their character is judged as “white” by many others, and that is viewed as an undesirable trait. The fear of being called “Uncle Tom” is worse than the “n” word. Until that attitude is changed, and true pride and courage replace the almost instinctive arrogance we now see, it will be a struggle to produce a change. But it’s a fight that is worth the effort. And this may be the model to begin the battle.

I’ll believe that when I see that.

As of now the vote is something like 90% Democrat and many of the Blacks claiming to be Republicans sound more like Democrats to me.

When it gets to 60-40 wake me up but then by that time the Democrats will have successfully converted their plantation population to Hispanic and the Blacks can suck it.

Blacks have been doomed since the Democrats began their same sex marriage switch. That goes against too many Black churches foundational beliefs.

How the Democrats will square that circle with Hispanics is beyond me but apparently they’ve done it and expect to be successful with more.

Anyone looking to pin the blame for our leftist/free stuff overweening government can look no further than the Blacks as they seized upon the Faustian bargain the Democrats offered in the late 60’s. They got a leg up but sold their soul to the KKK.

“the lock that liberals have held on the black vote is slowly but surely breaking,” is an assertion without evidence.

In 1960, Nixon won 37% of the black vote. After Goldwater was openly hostile to the Civil Rights bills, no Republican has exceeded Reagan’s 13% in his 1984 reelection landslide. Most end up at 10% or less.

Obama performed worse for black Americans than any President since WWII. They have fared worse on employment, income, home ownership, and every measure of economic well-being, yet they continued to support him enthusiastically enough to reelect him.

SHOW ME.

If it happens, it’s great because if Republicans could split the difference between 1960’s 37% and 1984’s 13% at 26%, Democrats would never win another election. But that’s the sort of sea change that requires more than proclamation to be believed.

In A World News Report, I said”- Being Republican has nothing to do with skin color. It is a question of morality and quality of life. We are against abortion. We believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. And we are for greater personal responsibility – less government interference. And that’s why we’re here, says” Brenda Battle Jordan.{www.geneseegop.org}

BRENDA BATTLE JORDAN,EDUCATION SPEAKER AT THE TROY AREA TEA PARTY JAN.22 2013**We Can Bring American Conservative Values Back to Schools

Ronald Reagan had this to say about education’s basic purpose: “We’re beginning to realize, once again,
We Can Bring American Conservative Values Back to Schools

Ronald Reagan had this to say about education’s basic purpose: “We’re beginning to realize, once again, that education at its core is more than just teaching our young the skills that are needed for a job, however important that is. It’s also about passing on to each new generation the values that serve as the foundation and cornerstone of our free democratic society–patriotism, loyalty, faithfulness, courage, the ability to make the crucial moral distinctions between right and wrong, the maturity to understand that all that we have and achieve in this world comes first from a beneficent and loving God.”

Was Ronald Reagan right when he said that?? Well, was he? Of course he was!!

Why is moral education important for both individuals and society?

The Founding Fathers said that democracy cannot survive unless the citizens are educated, virtuous and ethical.

James Madison said, “To suppose that any form of government will secures liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people are a chimerical idea.” (“chimerical” means wildly fanciful and foolish)

Benjamin Franklin believed the same: “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters. . . . Nothing is of more importance…. than to form and train up youth in wisdom and virtue.”

So, for almost 200 years, that’s exactly what the public schools did. Moral instruction, grounded moral lessons derived from Biblical sources, was as much a part of the curriculum as reading, writing, and arithmetic. In fact, this type of study was common in our country’s schools until the 1940’s.

So what happened?

Why has formal character education been almost eliminated from the public schools?

It’s somewhat more complicated, but the true basic answer is that Liberal Elites in the Liberal Universities and Liberal Media have tricked School Boards, Administrators, Teachers and Parents to think it is illegal.

It is true that our Supreme Court ruled that teachers may not lead students in prayer in the public schools. That’s unfortunate.

However, the courts have also ruled that it is very legal to teach the traditional moral values that nearly all Americans believe in.

Every great philosopher of education has said that virtue must be joined to learning, and have even put ethical instruction before practical instruction. This includes not only the ability to tell right from wrong, but also instruction in those values necessary to a happy and successful life, such as self-discipline, the ability to work hard, thrift, respect for the law, confidence, citizenship, responsibility, respect for the rights of others, courage of one’s convictions, obedience to proper authority, anticipating the consequences of one’s actions, honesty, tolerance, diligence, fairness, love of democracy and freedom, and many others.

Many public school across the country are teaching these traditional conservative moral values but the vast majority are not.

This is just like the right to keep and bear arms.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nak1umthp48

Genesee County Tea Party member Brenda Battle Jordan drove in from Flint to protest government giveaways of taxpayer money at Thursday’s groundbreaking of the new $303 million LG Chem lithium ion battery plant, attended by President Barack Obama.

“The government has to get control of spending and start balancing the budget. Michigan is hurting for jobs, but the giveaway of our tax dollars on projects that may not ever occur or produce jobs has got to stop,” Jordan said. She and about 150 other tea party protesters from across the state took up position along the president’s motorcade route during his visit to the Holland plant site, which is expected to create about 400 local jobs.

TO: My Representative
This is good one to get many to send to their Senator or Representative (focus is getting a copy of the BLM Contract to kill BUNDY Cows.

Message Subject: Bundy Terrorist Event and Contract INI 12PC00121
Our Federal Government is involved in a terrorist Crime – the Bundy Ranch event.
Internet news – Contract Cowboys involved in the fiasco – shot Bundy Bulls – terrorized son and daughter of Bundy. Physically attacked both.
https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/default.htm
Used to Search for Contracts issued by BLM NV LAS VEGAS What you would be looking for is CRIMINAL INTENT. BLM Nevada Las Vegas intentionally restricted the contract to PURCHASE Contract Cowboys with Guns to Kill BUNDY BULLS which is a crime unto itself.
They then archived the contract and related information in a secure manner within 15 Days from signing the Contract with Sampson, Shayne from Utah. See Above.
Who and what is the criminal record of this individual?
And, here is the Corporation that brought the fight to a head.
CORPORATION Permitted by Government to Assonate People? According to Whom – the President has stated he has the authority to order the assignation of American Citizens.
Use this information in DUNNS to search out Corporations. There are 25 or so BLM Corporations in Las Vegas. CORPORATION contracting with Corporation of Individuals to terrorize rancher Bundy and attack people – with intent to kill – sniper rifles on hillsides overlooking Bundy Ranch.

Issued Feb 7, 2014 (enough in advance to ascertain Criminal Intent), modified Feb 13, 2014, and Archived on Feb 22nd, 2014 to get out of sight of researchers.
Since I paid Taxes, and am An America Citizen the contract document is partially mine.
I searched Issuing Agency “BLM NV-LAS” and drill down to see the SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) on contracts back in 2013, yet you cannot find the SOW on INL 12PC00121 which is posted on this web site also.
When you study FedConnect you find private corporation COMPUSearch engine driving the research of COntracts of the GOV (All GOV).
It would take the act of intimidation by none other than Harry Reid to get the INL 12PC00121 hidden.
Note that it is a Department of Interior contract and not BLM. So we have one big Federal Conspiracy going on to unseat BUNDY from his Ranch.
Issuing a contract for Armed Cowboys (they had to be armed to shoot BUNDY BULL) is a premeditated terrorist act with intent to harm the Bundy Family and destroy BUNDY property.

I am demanding that your office acquire a copy of the Contract with SAMPSON and provide same to me at for my review.
The BLM Point of Contact in Las Vegas is: Danny Lavergene (303) 236-9450 or [email protected]. Remember, the Taxpaying American Citizens are the Government of the United States IAW the Constitution.
End of message to your Senator or Representative.

Enter your ZIP (OR FULL INFO) to Your Representative/Senator – Please Act Fast to get as many out today as possible. Turn the FIRE UP UNDER THEIR BUTTS.

Feel Free to Pass on.

Many should send this out to their Representatives in Congress to get water really hot.
Think about this — if you turn the fire up under every Representative and Senator, some will bolt because they cannot afford to be VOTED out of Office. They would have to get an honest job.

Send, follow up, follow up again and again until they are furious.

They will collectively make a huge mistake and squeal like stuck pigs. (A little better fait than BUNDY Cattle).

MT. MORRIS TWP, MI — Brenda Battle-Jordan, a member of the Genesee County Republican Executive Committee, has announced her campaign for a seat on the county Board of Commissioners.
A Flint School District retiree, Battle-Jordan, 56, is a GOP candidate in District 1. She said in a statement that she is the longest-serving member of the Westwood Heights Board of Education.
The District 1 seat is currently held by Omar Sims, D-Flint, but Sims has announced he is leaving the county board position to run for Michigan House of Representatives.
Battle-Jordan’s statement says she has been involved in the Tea Party movement, is an abortion rights opponent, and believes “that a marriage should be between a man and a woman.”
Democrat Bryant Nolden, a Flint city councilman, has also filed to run for the District 1 position, which covers northern Flint and parts of Mt. Morris and Genesee Townships, including the Beecher area.
