BERLIN — Atlas International has closed multiple territory deals for Sundance title Sweetwater, a western starring Mad Men‘s January Jones, Ed Harris and Jason Isaacs — best known as Lucias Malfoy from the Harry Potter films.
eOne picked up Sweetwater for the U.K market, Seven Sept took the film for France, California Films scooped up South American rights and Middle East rights went to distributor ESC. Atlas said it had multiple other territories under negotiation.
Set in the late 1800s, Sweetwater follows the bloody clash that emerges when a fanatical religious leader (Isaacs), a renegade sheriff (Harris) and a former prostitute (Jones) collide on the plains of New Mexico.
Arc Entertainment has U.S. rights to the feature, which premiered at Sundance.
