Cowboys must prepare for bit player Vick

IRVING, Texas -- Michael Vick, who has been nursing a quadriceps injury, is expected to play Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Not that Vick is a major concern for the Dallas Cowboys.

Vick's signing with the Eagles after being released from prison generated a lot of hype and controversy. However, he hasn't made an impact as Donovan McNabb's Wildcat-running backup.

Vick has accounted for 181 yards and three touchdowns this season. His contributions in the Eagles' loss to the Cowboys earlier this season consisted of one carry for two yards.

But Vick's presence does force foes to spend some practice time preparing for him instead of focusing on Philadelphia's primary offensive weapons.

"They'll do something with him," Dallas coach Wade Phillips said. "We expect that, and that spends some practice time."
