As many of you know, In February 2010, I will be moving to Malawi for 2 years to work as a nurse clinical instructor with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO). I am really looking forward to this, and feel really lucky that I have been accepted on this programme. Although there is not much on the blog site yet, there will be more when I get to Malawi, internet connections allowing. Having brought a new camera, I shall be also able to add some photo's to give you a better idea of what everything looks like.

VSO have about 1500 volunteers working in approximately 34 countries. The organisation gets some funding through DFID but needs to raise all the rest through charitable donations. Any money you donate goes to help VSO send out future volunteers.
