Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, In February 2010, I will be moving to Malawi for 2 years to work as a nurse clinical instructor with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO). I am really looking forward to this, and feel really lucky that I have been accepted on this programme. You can follow my progress over the next couple of years on my preparations and training and what happens whilst I am away on my blog, http://nikkiinmalawi.blogspot.com

Although there is not much on the blog site yet, there will be more when I get to Malawi, internet connections allowing. Having brought a new camera, I shall be also able to add some photo's to give you a better idea of what everything looks like.

VSO have about 1500 volunteers working in approximately 34 countries. The organisation gets some funding through DFID but needs to raise all the rest through charitable donations. Any money you donate goes to help VSO send out future volunteers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks for all your help and support

Nikki
