Sometimes you have to make the first move....

Questions submitted via Formspring:
“I’m around great men in my apartment complex and work. Friends say that I should just “talk” to these men, but how? How do you start a conversation with someone without being creepy, and how do you keep the conversation going? I run out of things to say!”

And

“How can I tell if a man is attracted to me or just being “nice”? And how can I obviously show a man that I’m interested in him without coming off as skanky?”

These questions have come up many times in the past, and we recently talked about how to flirt, but there is always more to say about how to do it right!

In the video below, I explain:
More about how to flirt, how to know if he / she is interested in you; how to know what the other person is thinking, when they are *lying*, and much, much more.

As for these specific questions, first and foremost, the best way to get someone interested in you, is to be interested in * them *.
What that means, is ask questions and listen to what they say.
This doesn’t mean that you should start grilling them; but if you see them walking the dog you can walk up and say “wow, that’s a beautiful dog; what’s her name?” or if you see them checking the mail, ask “your lottery check show up yet?” or something like that; anything to get the conversation started.

The other thing is to understand how guys think.
You’ll always have success appealing to his ego; complement his car, his shoes, ask if he’s been working out, anything.

The number one thing you have going for you, is once you show him you’re interested any guy worth while should take the hint and start pursuing * you* instead.

And the best way to find out if he’s interested is, does he act interested? Does he ask you to spend time with him? Does he say and do nice things for you?

And if he doesn’t get it after a couple of clear hints, move on to the next one.
You don’t need any guy who’s too shy or blind to make a move!
