Bright Crayola colors such as red, blue and green dominated the Emmy 2012 red carpet. But there was some extra sunlight created by several stylish actresses who picked up trophies on Sunday night.
Julianne Moore, who won an Emmy for her spot-on performance as former Alaska governor Sarah Palin in HBO’s Game Change, wore a bright yellow long sleeved Dior Haute Couture creation. Julie Bowen, who snagged an award (over Kristen Wiig!) for her role on Modern Family, chose another ray of sunlight, a Monique Lhuillier gown accessorized with Swarovski jewels.
Lastly, a newly pregnant Claire Danes, outstanding lead actress in a drama for her riveting performance in Homeland (even President Barack Obama is hooked on it) chose another bright yellow frock by Lanvin.
