The historic Mars landing by the NASA rover Curiosity on Sunday has been nicely commemorated by Oreo as part of the cookie brand's "Daily Twist" series of on-the-fly portraits of daily news items. The image shows space-rover tracks carved into a presumably scrumptious surface of red Oreo creme filling (which the fine print points out is "currently unavailable"). The Daily Twist project, by Draftfcb in New York, began June 25 with the notorious gay-pride image and celebrates the brand's 100th anniversary by reflecting the most important news each day for 100 days through the lens of an Oreo.
