Be careful when ordering champagne around NFL player at a watering hole, because you may catch a fade. Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is among four NFL players under investigation for alleged severely beating up a couple of off-duty cops last night/early morning (Feb. 8) at a Philadelphia bar.

Reports FOX 29:

Philadelphia Police have acknowledged that McCoy was present at the bar Saturday night, but have not specified if he played a role in the incident.

According to FOX 29’s Dave Schratwieser, sources say that the officers suffered numerous injuries including fractured skull, broken ribs, and a broken nose. Everyone was ejected from the restaurant following the brawl.

Sources report that video was not taken of the brawl between police officers and the NFL players; however there is video of the players and officers being tossed from the bar.

Police were reportedly not called to the scene, according to sources. Also, it is unclear if the off-duty officers identified themselves as police. The argument allegedly occurred over alcohol.

Police reports were filed after the incident. Schratwieser reports that it is being investigated as aggravated assault because of the injuries incurred, however no charges have been filed yet.

According to ABC 6, the altercation started when someone with McCoy snatched a champagne bottle out of a cop’s hand. It hasn’t been determined if the two victims who were hospitalized after getting stomped out identified themselves as police.

So the cops and players shot the fair one? Can’t they just call it even and keep it moving?

Considering the millions the NFL players make, not likely.
