Mandaue City fire burns car repair shop

By: Norman V. Mendoza February 09,2016 - 01:15 PM

Fire burned a car repair shop in Lower Tabok in Mandaue City at 11:15 a.m. today.

Shop owner Emmanuel Gonzales suspects that the fire was intentional because of  his pending dispute with the shop’s caretaker Gil Benosa.

Gonzales told fire investigators that he earlier asked Benosa to already vacate his shop but the caretaker refused.
Mandaue City fire investigators are now looking for Benosa who disappeared after the fire broke.

The shop’s concrete fence prevented the flame from spreading to nearby structures.
