First Lady Michelle Obama is going animated for Doc McStuffins, appearing in an upcoming episode for the award-winning Disney Junior show. The episode is set to premiere Oct. 5.
Doc McStuffins, a cartoon that centers around a young Black girl who fixes up toys, will air the episode to coincide with Child’s Health Day. In the episode titled “Doc McStuffins Goes to Washington,” Doc and other children who are making a difference in their communities are invited to the White House to be honored in a special ceremony. While there, the First Lady designates Doc the official “toy doctor” for the White House.
“Doc McStuffins Goes to Washington” airs at 9 a.m., Oct. 5 on Disney Junior.
