Fil-Am UFC fighter John Dodson to visit Manila  

Filipino-American mixed martial arts fighter John Dodson is set for a four-day visit to the Philippines from June 23 to 26.

The 31-year-old Dodson is one of the notable fighters of the UFC, he holds a record of 18-7 and has wins over the likes of TJ Dillashaw. 

Dodson had the chance to become the UFC bantamweight champion in 2013 when he challenged Demetrious Johnson for the title, but lost to the defending champion by unanimous decision.

Dubbed as "The Magician", Dodson made his mark in the world of MMA when he won UFC's reality TV show "The Ultimate Fighter" in 2011 to earn a six-figure contract with the world's premiere mixed martial arts organization. — APG, GMA News
