Dear Editor,
I live here because of the farmland and fresh fruit and vegetables grown here, as well as the easy access to the dyke and the Fraser River. This is one of the most beautiful places in B.C.
So why are we removing land from the agricultural land reserve, and why do we see city council approving monster houses on this land? It makes me sick to see the size of houses going up on No. 2 Road south of Steveston Highway and in other places.
We elect city council to make decisions that protect our environment, our community and serve all citizens. Have a look around and see how the community is changing forever.
