‘ESPN sports analyst Jemele Hill has quietly been serving her 2-week suspension for trumped-up charges—pun very much intended. Hill recently revealed that she’s not mad at the network and went as far as saying that she deserved the suspension.

TMZ spotted Hill at LAX and asked her about the situation. After saying she was grateful for and humbled by the support of her supporters, she gave a very diplomatic answer.

“Me and ESPN are fine. We’re in a good place and I’m happy to be back at the network,” said Hill, who said she’ll be back Monday (Oct. 23).

She added, “So, here’s how this works—it doesn’t really matter what I think…. It matters to people, but here’s the reality—ESPN acted [how] they felt was right, and, you know, I don’t have any argument or quibble with that. I would tell people, absolutely, after my Donald Trump tweets, I deserved that suspension. I deserved it. Like, absolutely. I violated the policy; I deserved that suspension. Going forward we’ll be in a good healthy place, it’ll be fine. I’m looking forward to it.”

Although Hill regrets putting ESPN, and her co-workers on the show, in a bad spot—she does not take back anything she said.

Respect.
