The Coordinating secretary to the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and Former Minister Suranimala Rajapaksha passed away this morning at the aged of 68.
Mr. Rajapaksha, born in 1949, was first elected to the Parliament of Sri Lanka in 1994 and he was the Minister of School Education from 2001 to 2004. Being member of the UNP, he was appointed as the Coordinating secretary to the Prime Minister Wickremasinghe on 27 January 2015.
