A FIRE gutted two units of a row house owned by Edgar Cañete located at Ernestine Homes in Barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City at past 8 a.m. Thursday.
Leny Tugahan, Cañete’s helper, told firefighters that she heard something blow up at the location of the exhaust fan a few seconds after power was restored at 1 a.m.
SFO1 Hadjiludin Samonte said they received the alarm at 8:15 a.m. and the fire was put out nearly an hour later. No one was hurt and damages were pegged at P768,000.
