“The data from our customers today is very encouraging and demonstrates the value of all the efforts made to develop the best broiler in the European market,” said James Truscott, director of Cobb Germany. “We are proud of being part of this development and looking forward to further progress.”

A series of presentations dealt with current challenges for the industry including likely legislation of the future. “Customers wants an antibiotic-free world and we as a poultry industry want to help,” said John Vincent, director of quality assurance in Cobb Europe, opening his talk on how to reduce significantly the use of antibiotics.

“Cobb will always put the farmer’s needs first and provide the best technical advice,” he said. “Our excellent quality assurance team is constantly analysing and improving standards to help farmers cope with the challenges of tomorrow.”
