Narendra Modi Greets People on Constitution Day

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, greeted the people today on the occasion of the Constitution Day, which is being observed for the first time in the country.

The Constitution of India was adopted on 26th of November in the year 1949 and came into force on 26th of January in 1950.

Modi saluted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for his contribution to the Indian Constitution.

“Greetings to people of India on the historic occasion of 1st Constitution Day. May this day inspire you to know more about our Constitution,” Modi said.

“No mention of our Constitution is complete without remembering the stellar contribution of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. I salute him,” Modi said.

“Let us always uphold the ideals and values of our Constitution and create an India that would make our founding fathers very proud,” Modi stated in his remarks.
