Q: What is the history of your business?

A: We started the business in July of 2015 by bringing in a certified financial planner who spent the last eight and a half years at the Raymond James home office in St. Petersburg.

Q: What does the First Florida Wealth Group offer?

A: We provide a concierge-level of financial planning for Realtors, entrepreneurs, families and retirees.

Q: What kind of year are you having?

A: We’ve had an exciting first six months and have met our expectations. We expect 2016 to be a very positive year.

Q: What does it take to be successful?

A: Support from other local businesses is a necessity to keep the economy growing here along the Emerald Coast. We also must embrace our tourist friends that keep many small business owners in business.

Q: Why is Northwest Florida a good place to do business?

A: There is opportunity for growth. Businesses do not start with the objective of failing. They want to grow. Northwest Florida and the panhandle region has plenty of room for growth. I feel the key to this is to continue supporting local businesses and embracing tourism.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: We plan to grow, but at a reasonable pace. We want to be able to provide a concierge-level of service to each of our clients. We are also looking to add additional advisors to our team.
