A man driving a motorcycle was killed after he was ran over by a mixer truck along UN Avenue in Barangay Umapad, Mandaue City, Cebu on Wednesday morning.

Alvin Castañares, 44 of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu was declared dead on arrival when brought to Mandaue City District Hospital.

Mixer truck driver Joecel Aranco, 32, a native of Borbon town in Cebu, said he did not notice Castañares while cruising along UN Avenue about 9:30 a.m.
