843 passengers stranded in Cebu ports

At least 843 passengers stranded after vessels cancelled trips due to the unfavorable weather conditions.

Philippine Coast Guard District Central Visayas reported 22 vessels voluntarily cancelled their trips.

The weather bureau has raised a gale warning for strong waves aned wind affecting Visayas.

PCG District Commander Enrico Efren said small vessels and motorized boats are prohibited to travel.
