Kathleen M. Holt

BERWICK, Maine — Kathleen M. Holt, 89, of Berwick, Maine, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Sydney, Australia, on August 23, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Ruby (Daley) Gillard and was a graduate of St. George High School in Sydney.

Prior to her retirement she was employed as a coil-coating specialist at G.T.E. Sylvania.

Kathleen was a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Portsmouth.

She is survived by her children, Carole Rumberger of Rochester, John Hackett of South Tamworth, N.H. and Brian Holt of Berwick, Maine; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her siblings Ida Cox, Helen Sheely, Albert and Willard Gillard all of Sydney, Australia.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Herbert Holt.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m.on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the South Cemetery, South Street, Portsmouth. Please omit flowers.
