Gupta said they will ensure the delivery service does not resume till the issue is resolved. “ 400 field executives of both Flipkart and Myntra are enrolled with our union. But the company always refuses to recognise us.
The official spokesperson of e-kart, the logistics division of Flipkart, said: “We have 900 field executives at 19 delivery centres across the city. Of them, only 21 people, from the Fort and Tardeo centres, are on strike.” He added, “Deliveries have not been affected. Our delivery team has one of the best salary and benefits structure. We strictly adhere to duty timings of eight hours.”

MNKS secretary Sachin Gole said, “We want labour laws to be followed and worker entitlement schemes to be provided.” While leaving, the mob announced that the Mumbai in-charge had received a text from seniors while they were there that officials would meet MNS chief Raj Thackeray next Tuesday. They said that the officials have agreed to recognise their union. Flipkart officials refused to comment on this development calling it a “political matter”.
