Elijah Holyfield, the No. 5 running back recruit in the class of 2016 (according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings) committed to Georgia Friday afternoon, bringing out two Bulldogs when making his announcement. Holyfield’s decision was adorable, but not all that unique as he one-upped former Georgia Bulldog Isaiah Crowell, who brought out a bulldog for his commitment back in 2011.

The 5-10, 204-pound running back rushed for 1,735 yards and 25 touchdowns last season for Atlanta’s Woodward Academy.

The powerhouse likes of Alabama and Auburn tried to lure the four-star talent out of his home state of Georgia, but the state’s No. 17 player decided to stay in house.

The powerful-yet-elusive back is the son of former heavyweight boxing champion Evander, and made a “secret commitment” months ago, claiming he’s known where he’s wanted to attend for quite some time.
