Frank Ocean took just over four years to release his follow-up to Channel Orange, his Def Jam debut, over the weekend with the official release of Blonde. Although Ocean’s rabid fanbase is eating up not only the material on Blonde and also the visual album Endless, several people have been left largely unimpressed.

Given the heavy anticipation for Blonde, which is stylized Blond on the official release, it was expected that everyone would be singing its praises. With a well-received Andre 3000 feature and mixing from the legendary Mike Dean, it was assumed that this would be Ocean’s return to musical glory.

However, a growing amount of chatter isn’t impressed with Ocean’s latest offering. While nobody likes to see their art dissected, it’s got to be quite a blow to Ocean and his many supporters to see that not everyone is fawning over the project.

We’ve collected some of the online slander we could find on Twitter of Frank Ocean’s Blonde album below and on the following pages. If we missed any of your faves, let us know in the comments.
