The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) called on owners of impounded vehicles to claim them before the end of the year lest they be forfeited in favor of the city government.

CCTO operations chief Rafael Yap said in a September 28 notice that vehicles left unclaimed in the next 30 days will already be sold in a public auction that will be scheduled soon.

About 601 unclaimed vehicles are now kept at the city impounding area located at the South Road Properties (SRP).

Yap is asking vehicle owners to call the CCTO office located at the Ramos Public Market at 254-8453 and 256-2625 and the Department of Public Services (DPS) located at the 7th floor of the city hall executive building at 4110100 local 1712 for inquiries.
