What a lovely note and photo I received this week from my buddy Jan Morsches ... always nice to get surprises like this!
Bobby Morsches is the "date" and my mom made the dress! We were at the American Legion building at the 1952 prom.
I must have been 6 on my way to other girls being jealous until my graduation from high school. He must have been 8; he is two years older.
Those little booklets were the programs, as I remember, with little pencils hanging off with teensy cords. I wish I could have foregone any more years of school, and graduated early with that class…at age 6! YES!
