Every time you talk with god and open lines of communication you are building a closer relationship, and making a point of keeping in touch. When you do this then miracles and blessings will become part of your lifestyle. Think of god as an old and dear friend, one who is very close. Constant communication reinforces this relationship and brings you even closer to the Lord, bathing you in his light and glory and making miracles a big part of your lifestyle.

If you are hoping for miracles then you need to make daily prayer part of your lifestyle, devoting time and attention to god and giving him the honor that he deserves. When you have a close relationship with god then he keeps a close eye on you, and miracles soon follow. Nothing is impossible with the strength and wisdom of our Lord, but you can not expect him to perform miracles for you if you can not even be bothered to talk with him unless you need or want something.
