Donald James Brown, 70, of Midland passed away on August 10, 2019. Services will be held on August 17, 2019 at 11:00 am at Fellowship Community Church 5206 North Midland Drive.Donald was born on June 15, 1949 in Denver, CO to Shirley and Clarence Brown. His mom passed away when he was 2 years old and his Dad later re-married to Lila Brown. Donald retired from Public Service Company of Colorado after 38 years, as a Power Plant Manager. He was a devoted and loving family man, whose interests include self-taught computer programming and technology, and spending time in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Brown, parents Shirley Stapp and Clarence Brown, and stepmom Lila Brown.He is survived by his wife Wanda Brown, daughter Donna Thompson, grandchildren Dylan and Deandra Thompson, and sister Connie Banks.The family would like to express their gratitude towards family members, friends, and Fellowship Community Church.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
