After a phenomenal opening weekend, the highly awaited Hindi film of the year Race 3 has entered on weekdays with a strong pace. By its fourth day, the third installment of Race franchise has surpassed the lifetime total of Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (108.95 crores) and has reached closer to Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi (121.92 crores till day-38).

Starring superstar Salman Khan along with an ensemble that includes Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem, this multi-starrer action thriller has received mixed reactions from the viewers. But still, due to solid star power, it is getting a fantastic response at the box office globally.

Directed by Remo D’souza, Race 3 opened on a tremendous note despite being released pre-Eid and registered the best opening of the year in Hindi Cinema with 29.17 crores. It also emerged as the fifth highest opener of Salman’s career after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40.35 crores), Sultan (36.54 crores), Tiger Zinda Hai (34.10 crores), and Ek Tha Tiger (32.93 crores).

On Saturday (Eid), as expected the film took a massive boast post noon shows across the country and did the business of 38.14 crores. Then on Sunday with a further jump in footfalls, it raked the business of 39.16 crores and raised the opening weekend total collection to 106.47 crores at the domestic box office from 4000 screens.

Now Race 3 has stepped-in on normal working days and as usual, witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls. On Monday, Tips Films and Salman Khan Films’ presentation faced a drop of 51.18% than Friday and minted the amount of 14.24 crores. With this, its 4 days total collection has become 120.71 crores nett.
